[Mondeor] Sunday evening: Healing "psychosomatic" illness

Dear Friends 

 

We have all heard the term "psychosomatic illness". Some physical diseases
are believed to have a mental component derived from the stresses and
strains of everyday living. More and more doctors remind their patients to
watch their stress levels etc and prescribe a holistic solution to illness. 

 

God knew this all along when he inspired the writer of the Proverbs to write
the following: 


30A healed heart [is] life to the flesh, And rottenness to the bones [is]
envy. Proverbs 14:30 (Young's Literal Translation)


The NIV translates it well: 


 30 A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.
Proverbs 14:30 (New International Version)


This coming Sunday evening we will look at ministering healing to the soul
and the emotions. 

 

The service will be held downstairs in the "He - brews bistro"  and
refreshments will be available.
