[Saice-jhb-branch] SAICE JHB Branch Bridge Building Competition – Invitation & Call for Transport Support

Dear SAICE JHB Branch Members,
We are pleased to announce the SAICE Johannesburg Branch Bridge Building Competition, taking place on Friday, 25 July 2025, from 08:30 to 15:00 at the University of Johannesburg.
This exciting annual event brings together bright and aspiring students from across Johannesburg to engage in a hands-on engineering challenge that promotes teamwork, creativity, and structural problem-solving. It’s a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of engineers and expose them to the world of civil engineering in a practical and impactful way.
Call for Transport Support
We are reaching out to our members and corporate partners to kindly assist with transporting students to and from the venue.  The participating schools and students are located in the following areas:
Tembisa, Soweto, Katlehong, Benoni, Roodepoort, Cosmo City, and Midrand.
If you or your company can provide any form of transport assistance, (monetary or an actual vehicle dedicated to transporting them)  we would be deeply grateful. Your support will go a long way in ensuring access and participation for all invited learners.
