[Saice] New Updated Std Specification for Subsurface Investigations (2009)

Dear Members

 

This notification serves  official confirmation that the newly updated
Standard Specifications for Subsurface Investigation (2010 ) , or
updated Drilling /sampling spec  replacing the 17 yr old CSRA (1993)
version, has now been completed and has for the interim been placed onto
the S A National Roads Agency's (SANRAL)  Web site  for immediate use by
the fraternity. The intention is that this document will eventually
become  a COTO document.

 

This is the newly updated document which is intended to replace the old
one.  Its use is not restricted to Road /Bridge Projects only, or to
SANRAL's  Roads/Bridge/Geotechnical projects only, but  it is actually
aimed at all geotechnical /subsurface investigations for all sorts of
building and civil engineering projects of all sorts, in all private and
public sectors.
