"Lessons from the Big Dig"

The Big Dig was a $14 billion highway construction project in Boston that included several tunnels. There was a massive cost overrun and time delay.  Epoxy anchors were used extensively to hold concrete ceiling panels. Some of the anchors failed, resulting in the death of an automobile passenger and a massive follow up investigation. Hear of the many lessons learned related to ethics, communications, and engineering.

A must for all those involved in concrete, repairs, contracting, specifying and planning.
