This two-day course covers basic pressure pipeline design. From first principles, candidates will gain an insight into the selection of appropriate materials and fittings and will learn about losses, water hammer, how to read and interpret pump duty curves and the construction process. Candidates will learn through hands-on activities how to design pressure pipelines. Candidates must bring their pocket calculators to the course. An experienced engineer from whom candidates can learn valuable lessons presents the course.
