Engineering Council of South Africa has requested SAICE to nominate members to
serve on the <b><u><span style='font-weight:bold'>Engineering Programme
Accreditation Committee (EPAC)</span></u></b> and also their <b><u><span
style='font-weight:bold'>Professional Advisory Committee on Civil Engineering
(PAC Civils)</span></u></b>, who scrutinize applications for
registration. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Additionally,
ECSA is appealing for particular consideration to be given to the nomination of
suitably qualified persons from designated groups which are significantly
under-represented on committees. Please note that training may be
required for the first committee. Also note that the Executive Board
indicated that since there are limited vacancies, they will have to follow a
stringent selection process.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
