SAICE is intimately involved in building the nation through facilitating and providing the skills and expertise in Civil Engineering. And there are MANY building blocks and teams contributing.
BUT, we are currently experiencing huge challenges.
One is that Academic STAFF are in short supply.
At the University of Pretoria, Elsabé Kearsley is URGENTLY looking for a 3 hour, once a week lecturer in Storm water Drainage and Management for October 2008. The notes are THERE but they need YOU.
At the University of Johannesburg, Doornfontein Campus, Johan de Koker is looking for a part-time lecturer to teach surveying (If you like it, you can even go
full-time).
If our members respond positively to this email, we may expand the service as a Social Corporate Investment in South Africa's future.
Please email comms05 at saice.org.za for more details
Yours sincerely

PS 1. Teaching is fun!
2. You do get a SMALL fee.
3. Teachers stay younger for longer.
4. It is at a BASIC level so dummies can apply.
