Urgent call to SAICE Professional Engineers

 

 

The Engineering Council of South Africa has requested SAICE to nominate
members to serve on the Engineering Programme Accreditation Committee
(EPAC) and also their Professional Advisory Committee on Civil
Engineering (PAC Civils), who scrutinize applications for registration.


 

Additionally, ECSA is appealing for particular consideration to be given
to the nomination of suitably qualified persons from designated groups
which are significantly under-represented on committees.  Please note
that training may be required for the first committee.  Also note that
the Executive Board indicated that since there are limited vacancies,
they will have to follow a stringent selection process.

 

Are you interested, willing, and obviously able to serve in one or more
of these committees?

 

We have a deadline of 5 February 2010 to submit, and since SAICE still
has to consider "applications" please submit a brief CV to us by not
later than Wednesday, 27 January 2010.
